The ‘Bauhaus in Calcutta’ exhibition in 1922 marked an entry point for modernism in India. It was the Bauhaus’ first foreign exhibition held internationally, offering inspiration to a generation of Indian artists, manifesting the utopian possibilities of a new, free India in the built environment. We integrated the principles of the Bauhaus movement such as geometric patterns, primary color palettes and simplified design to form the Kolkata Bauhaus ensemble. The trackpant has a comfortable waistband with a classic straight cut and a bottom ankle band for fit. It features two side pockets to tuck your hands into as well as back pockets for your credit card and phone. With its easy silhouette  this trackpant becomes undeniably versatile and pairs well with just about anything; the perfect compliment to a classic white tee; over a vest; above a tailored shirt; or stand-alone. You can turn this set into your staple travel pant by choosing from a multitude of colors.
