These emotional and hormonal impressions cause us to reevaluate relationships of every kind that come our way. As an aide-mémoire to all our firsts—our viscose pant was born. A reminder of a simpler time, a familiar touch, a bitter-sweet symphony.
Cut straight to glide against your skin, it has an elasticated waistband with an adjustable drawstring, adapting itself to your body. It has side pockets big enough to hold a few smokes and just small enough to tuck your hands into. It can easily transition from being your companion in bed to the perfect heat wave partner at work—it feels like you’re wearing nothing! To keep it casual, wear it with a t-shirt or a vest; or clean it up by pairing it with a monochromatic shirt or blouse. It even has the ability to tone down a print. You can also color block by pairing it with a sweatshirt or throw over a muted pullover to neutralize it.
Made in our extremely delicate Vaporized Viscose, this pant feels like matte silk against the skin. We use a vapor session that relaxes the fabric, just like a sauna relaxes the body. If your fantasy is a pair of pants that feels like a slinky pajama, we hear you!

Our Adult Swaddle is double-sided; the first layer is Aeromul (100% cotton), and the second layer is Naked Slub (a blend of polyester and viscose). It is never meant to be discarded. It is easy to mend, dry-clean only and will last you forever if you take care of it. Keep in mind it ages like wine and is to be cherished and passed on like an heirloom.

This inbred lattice technique is made in our soft Cloud Cotton, a 100% cotton knit with the hand-feel of your favorite t-shirt. We cut up t-shirt fabric and created individual rope that we then wove together, by stitching one strip at a time on top of the next. This is an elaborate process—a sculptural take on embroidery.
As one of the most intricate techniques in the Obataimu family, we urge you to treat it with care.
STEAM CLEAN ONLY :
1. It’s best to do this yourself at home with a professional home steamer or pocket steamer if you are traveling.
2. If you do take it to a dry-cleaner, let them clearly know this piece CANNOT BE DRY-CLEANED but only steam-cleaned.

We want to switch gears from the one-click shopping culture to more thoughtful consumption, keeping air pollution from e-commerce in consideration too. While the shipping industry is essential to the world’s economy and well-being, we are aware of its contributing factors on the global greenhouse gas emissions that are released into our atmosphere. Every year, the shipping industry is responsible for approximately 2.89% of CO2 gases emitted globally. This may seem low to you now, but by the year 2050, it is said to increase up to 130% (4th IMO GHG study, 2018). We are trying to work with you to help the global fashion model find a new way.
Keeping all of this in mind, in order for us to work together, we urge you to please iron your piece before you try it on, and spend a little time with it in front of the mirror before you bid to exchange. Our no assembly line, no stock model is more expensive for us, but more considerate towards the planet.

If you must hand-wash; start by filling the container with cold water. Add just a pinch of non-toxic / acid and phosphate free laundry powder, and dip the piece in for a maximum of 5 minutes. Do not twist and squeeze on removal, instead lay it flat on the rack to dry. Never put the piece in a dryer or leave it out in the sun to dry.
You can steam or flat iron this piece with no difficulty. It’s not super prone to wrinkling but that doesn’t mean it’s wrinkle-free. The best way to travel with Obataimu is with a pocket steamer. Once you invest in one, you will never travel without it.
Do not machine wash this piece.
If you prefer to leave it to the professionals, just give it to the dry-cleaners and it will come back perfectly.
